Reiki was developed in 1922 by a Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui . It was based on QI ( CHI ), which means Universal Life Force Energy. It is administrate by “ laying on hands” where the life force energy flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If ones Life Force Energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more likely feeling happy and healthy. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that includes relaxation and feeling of peace, security and wellbeing. It relieves energy blockages and imbalances ( the source of dis-ease) to support healing and wellbeing.
